Former Kaduna Governor Arrested Over Diezani’s N23bn Campaign Fund

Former Kaduna state governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations that he collected N700million from a slush fund former Nigeria'soil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke deposited at Fidelity Bank. EFCC sources said Yero was implicated when two suspects earlier arrested by the anti-corruption agency revealed that he collected N700million from the loot.
