The situation in Nigeria with regard to poverty, insecurity and economical decadence has reached a peak where it can no longer be ignored and has to be raised as often as possible. Although the Federal Government is doing its best to reduces such hardship and societal impediment in all sectors, through implementation of policies that will revive the economy and rehabilitate the situation of living that the general populace are experiencing, it is important to remind the executive arm of government and the  President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, here referred to as President Muhammadu Buhari,(GCFR),to consider and reevaluate the way his government policies are being implemented through harsh means and the consequences that come with such variations in policy implementation. His fight against corruption is indeed a noble quest with its benefits and advantages, but the government should consider the fact that it is also leading to the emergence of other forms of insecurity and crime rate that is rising at an alarming rate. The government should also consider the fact that insurgency comes in different forms.

So far, the country has experienced the full wrath of "BOKO HARAM, MEND, NIGER DELTA AVENGERS, ETC" but there are also other forms of insurgency such as "POVERTY HARAM AND HUNGER HARAM", whereby, the former constitutes the latter in this case. The two unconventional forms of insurgency are equally responsible for as many lives that have been lost through the first forms of insurgencies mentioned above. The President and the Vice President here referred to as Professor Yemi Osinbajo,(GCFR),as "THE GENERAL OF THE MASSES AND A PROFESSOR OF THE RELIGIOUS”, make a perfect match because you can't go wrong by virtue of mixing the masses and religion together in society. The Vice President's knowledge, expertise and other good virtues possessed by him, gives hope that the policies they have made and are implementing will revive the country's economy and restore balance in all sectors.

However, continuously telling the country to be patient will not suffice and if not handled with care, might end up causing a full scale revolt from the masses. The government needs to publicly inform the masses of their plans, how they intend to go about it, and a projected time frame of how long it will take for whatever it is they are planning to manifest. They need to inform the masses what the patience is for, and how much patience is needed before their patience runs out, which everyone knows what comes after that.

Mr President sir, having ran for office for 12 years, there is a question that needs to be asked, which is, was this the plan you had for the nation or did the plan change after you took over from the former ruling party, here referred to as the People's Democratic Party,(PDP) and became President? Either way, you must have realized by now that,” HEAVY LYE'S THE CROWN”, in a democratic dispensation as opposed to a military regime.

Mr President sir, people are starving which you must be well aware of, which is why you should also consider the fact that telling people to go back to farming, is not the only solution. Most of these people do not own farmland and even if they did, they do not have the funds to facilitate and meet the necessary requirements in order to earn a living through the agricultural sector. Farming is not a sustainable livelihood that yields its gains in a day or weeks. It takes months for its proceeds to manifest and the masses in Nigeria need means that will enable them to buy food and feed their family through daily incomes. Does your government have a plan for that Mr President? Your government will always have our support and you still have the love of the masses because it is blatantly clear that it means well and the county's resources are safe in your hands, your Vice President's and a few others, but how many more are there that possess the same qualities as you? It is advisable not to drag the situation for too long so you do not loose the support you have from the masses, which is practically all you have and I'm sure you are also very well aware of that sir. You need to tell them what you are planning and why they need to be patient.

"YOU CANT KEEP TELLING ME TO WAIT FOR FOOD, WHEN IM NOT CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE COOKING IN YOUR KITCHEN". Mr President sir, by doing so, you will give them hope and the nation will give you a chance to execute your plans and implement your policies with immeasurable ease and comfort because people might see the logic in what your government is trying to do. They might even go so far as to protest against those that are protesting and spreading negative propaganda against your government. However, Mr President Sir, if the government chooses to go the other way, it would be arguable that, the reverse might be the case.

May God almighty continue to bless, guide and protect us with his infinite mercy and wisdom. Amin.
