The hijjah is a festival which ushers in the Muslim new year through out the period heads of families slaughter rams in remembrance of Ibrahim , the patriarch of the Muslim people. Who obeyed Allah by agreeing to sacrifice his son without questioning Allah. During this period muslims are to show love and affection to orphans z ,widows and less privileged people .
